You can create a system level Account Receivable (A/R) alert that shows patient balances for each practice in the enterprise that a user can access. For example, if Practice A and Practice B both have the alert enabled, but the user can access only Practice A, the alert displays the patient balance from Practice A. If the user can access Practices A and B, then the alert displays the balances for both practices.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select .
The Enterprise Preferences window opens.
- From the Preference List, select General.
- Select Enable enterprise patient balance alerts to make the Patent Balance checkbox display in Practice Preferences.
- Select OK.
The
Patient Balance checkbox is available in the
System section, on the
Alerts tab in the
Practice Preferences window.
Note: You must set the Practice Preference for each applicable practice.
