Copy Memorized Reports

Before you begin To copy a memorized report, you must have minimum one saved report and two Report Type in the Memorized Reports window. The reports can be in the enhanced or legacy version. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Reports, and then select Memorized. The Memorized Reports window opens. In Report Type, select the type of report type from the list. Reports matching the selected Report Type appear in the grid. Select the report to copy. Right-click the report, and then select Copy > This Report. Note: To copy all the reports of the selected report type, you can select Copy > All Report in This Type. The Copy Report window for the selected memorized report opens . Select the Report Type, and then select OK. A message appears for your confirmation to copy the selected report type. Select Yes. The report copies the memorized report to the selected report type. Memorized Report Information

Field Description Description Name in which you save the report while memorizing. Report Title Title of the report which was memorized. Enhanced Report It indicates if the report is saved in enhanced or legacy mode. Created By Name of the user who created the memorized report. Created Date and time when the report was memorized. Version The NextGen Enterprise PM version in which the memorized report was created. Last Run On Date and time when the memorized report was opened. Memorize a Report

Access NextGen® Enterprise PM or File Maintenance and then select a report to memorize. The Report Filter window opens. From the Settings List, select the desired columns, filters, and sorting for the report. Do one of the following: To generate the report before memorizing it, select OK. The report displays on screen. From the report toolbar, select Memorize Report To memorize the report without generating it, select Save. The Memorize Report window opens. In the Save As field, enter a name for the memorized report. This field is required. In the Report Type field, select a report type category to save the memorized report in. This field is required. Note: Report Types are created in File Maintenance for each practice. Set up user access to the memorized report: In the Allowed to Run field, select users or security groups who can run the memorized report. Leave blank if all users can run the report. Restricting Access to Memorized Reports

Access to memorized reports is controlled by the user group security settings in System Administrator. The Operation rights that apply to memorized reports are: Access All Memorized Reports- Enables users to view, run, and modify any memorized report secured to another user. When set to Yes, it overrides the Memorized Report Modification, Memorized Report Run, and Memorized Report Save rights. Memorized Report Modification- Enables users to define the users and security groups that can modify memorized reports. Memorized Report Run- Enables users to define the users and security groups that can run and print memorized reports. Enables users to access the Reports icon for "memorized" reports. Memorized Report Save- Enables users to save memorized reports. Memorized System Level- Enables users to memorize System Generated reports that are automatically produced after a process is run (for example, Claim Production Status, Batch Listing, Bad Debt). Memorizing Reports

You can memorize reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM and File Maintenance, so they always generate data using your preferred settings and format. Memorizing a report prevents you from having to select the same columns, filters, sorting and grouping on the Report Filter window each time you generate a frequently used report. It is important to note that memorizing a report saves your selected settings and format, but not the actual data on the report. Before memorizing reports, you must first create report categories in the Report Types master file in File Maintenance. When you memorize a report, you are required to save it to a specific report type. Examples might include Front Office Reports, Back Office Reports and Management Reports. For more information on setting up Report Types, refer to the File Maintenance Master Files Guide for NextGen® Enterprise PM. The following table describes the subgroups in Reports Operation.
