Before you begin
Practice and user preferences must be set in charge posting to enable the Patient Information Bar.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- From the main toolbar, select Charges.
The
Charge Posting window opens displaying the Patient Information Bar. The Patient Information Bar does not display any information until a patient is selected.
- Search for and select the patient and encounter to record charges.
The information for the selected patient displays in the Patient Information Bar.
Note: If you access the Charge Posting window from the Appointment Book or Encounters tab of the chart, the patient data automatically appears in the Patient Information Bar.
