Generate an Encounters Report for Programs

Access NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Reports menu, select one of the following reports: Daily > Encounters Accounts Receivable > Billed Encounters Account Receivable > Unbilled Encounters The NextGen Report Filter window opens. Select the desired columns, filters and sorting for the report. To add program-related columns to the report, select Columns from the Settings List and then select one or more of the following: Prog Name (Program Name) Prog Desc (Program Description) Prog Prim Prov (Program Primary Provider) Prog Enroll Dt (Program Enrollment Date) Prog Disch Dt (Program Discharge Date) To select programs for the report, select Programs from the Settings List and then do the following: To include all programs, select the Include ALL records of this type in the report check box. The check box is selected by default. To include specific programs, select the Open Record button. From the Programs window, search and select the desired programs from the Available list on the left,

Reporting on Programs

In NextGen® Enterprise PM, you can use the following reports to identify, review and monitor patient encounters that are linked to a program: Daily Encounters Billed Encounters Unbilled Encounters Threshold Tracking You can generate the reports to display program-related information for each encounter, such as program name, primary provider, and enrollment and discharge dates. You can also filter the reports to include or exclude specific programs. For more information on these reports, refer to the Reports User Guide for NextGen Enterprise PM. Look Up Encounters by Program

You can use the Encounter Lookup window to search for encounters linked to specific programs. To open the Encounter Lookup window, do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select Encounter. From Tasks menu, select Lookup and then select Encounters. The Encounter Lookup window opens. Enter the search criteria to find the required encounter. You can use multiple parameters. For example, select Bill Status, Billable Date Range, Rendering Physician, and Service Location. In the Program field, select one or more programs to limit the search results to include only the encounters linked to the selected programs. Note: The Program field appears only if you select the Enable Programs check box on the Programs preference in the Practice Preferences window. When the program access right for a user is set to No in System Administrator > Rights > Operations > Chart/Demographics/Employer > Program, the user cannot access the Program field. Select Find. Use the Collections Follow Up Report

The Collections Follow Up report track encounters on the Billing & Collections tab of the Encounter Maintenance window. The report has drill-down functionality with direct access to encounters in patient charts. If the Follow Up Date on an encounter is changed or removed, the patient is crossed-out on the report indicating the encounter has already been reviewed. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Reports menu, select Accounts Receivable. Select Collections, and then select Collections Follow Up. The NextGen Report Filter window opens. Select Columns, and then select the desired columns to be included in the report. Select Filter 1, and then select the desired Follow Up Date range for the report.
