Filter Dates

You can filter reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM to include data within a specified date range. The following types of dates can be used as filters on the Filter 1 tab of the Report Filter window. Charge and Transaction Dates Claim Dates Encounter Dates Aging Dates The Filter 1 dates vary for each report. For example, charge date filters are available on the Daily Charges report and claim dates filters are available on the Claim Requests report. Setting Report Columns and Filters

All reports have columns and filters that you can use to customize the report data and format. You can modify the reports by: Adding and removing columns. Selecting different sorting and grouping orders. Selecting new ways of totaling the columns. Modifying the criteria used for each report that you generate, such as specific date ranges for a rendering provider. Because each report generates different information, the filter criteria available to you depends on the report you are creating. After you have modified a report filter to fit your needs, you can memorize it so you can run the report at another time. To open the Report Filter window, do one of the following: Select a report from the Reports menu. If a report is already open, select the Report Filter toolbar button. Right-click on an open report, and then select Filter. Some common elements display on the Report Filter window for each report. Open Claim Status Report from Reports Menu

Before you begin Submit a claim request for a encounter. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Reports > General > Claim Status. The Claim Status report opens. The Columns filter in the Configuration Options list opens by default. Select the columns that need to appear on the report and select Refresh Report. The Claim Status report opens displaying the following: Claim status response date and time. Statistical overview of the claims (accepted and rejected), billed amount, and paid amount. Collapsed view of the list of the claims whose status is requested for. Note: To view the details of the claim status, select and expand the desired claim. Parent topic: Claim Status
