On the Events tab, you define the various types of appointments that will be scheduled for patients in the practice.
Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in the Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Administration window name changes to Practice Scheduling Administration.
Existing events are listed on the tab with the following information:
- Event: Name of the event.
- Short: Short description for the event (1 - 3 characters).
- Duration: Default duration for the event, in minutes.
- Color: Background color defined for the event.
The following options are available from the open menu

button, or the right-click menu:
- New: To create a new event.
- Open: To open an existing event.
- Hide: To hide or unhide an existing event.
- Print: To print an Event Listing report.
