Delete an Appointment From Appointment Lookup
You can delete an appointment from the
Appointment Lookup
window:
From the main toolbar, select
Appointments
.
The
Appointment Lookup
window opens.
Enter
Search Criteria
to locate the appointment to be deleted and click
Find
.
The
Appointment List
section displays appointments that match the search criteria entered.
Select the appointment to be deleted and do one of the following:
Right-click the appointment and select
Delete
.
Open the appointment and click the
Delete
button on the
Edit Appointment
window.
A message appears asking to confirm if you want to delete the selected appointment.
Click
OK
to delete the appointment.
The appointment is removed from the schedule. The appointment status does not change but, the appointment now has a deleted
indicator.

Delete an Appointment From Appointment Book
You can delete an appointment from the Appointment Book window: Open the Appointment Book window. Select the appointment to be deleted and do one of the following: Right-click the appointment and select Delete. Select the appointment and select the Delete Appt button on the Appointment Book toolbar. Open the appointment and select the Delete button on the Edit Appointment window. A message appears asking to confirm if you want to delete the selected appointment. Select OK to delete the appointment. The appointment is removed from the schedule. Delete Linked Appointments
When you delete an appointment for a patient, if there are multiple appointments on the same day or in the future, you can select the linked appointments from the Delete Appointment window if you want to delete them as well. Open the Appointment Book window. Select an appointment to be deleted that is also linked to other appointments. Do one of the following: Right-click the appointment and select Delete. Select the appointment and select the Delete Appt button on the Appointment Book toolbar. Open the appointment and select the Delete button on the Edit Appointment window. The Delete Appointment window opens. In the Linked Appointments section, do the following: Select the linked appointments that you want to delete. Clear the selection for the linked appointments that you do not want to delete. In the Delete Options section, clear the selection for the Delete All Linked Appointments option if you do not want to delete all the linked appointments. Note: This option is selected by def

Delete Recurring Appointments
When you delete an appointment that is part of a recurring series, you can select the other recurring occurrences in the series from the Delete Appointment window if you want to delete them as well. Open the Appointment Book window. Select an appointment to be deleted that is part of a recurring series of appointments. Do one of the following: Right-click the appointment and select Delete. Select the appointment and select the Delete Appt button on the Appointment Book toolbar. Open the appointment and select the Delete button on the Edit Appointment window. The Delete Appointment window opens. In the Recurring Appt Dates section, do the following: Select the recurring occurrence that must be deleted. Clear the selection for the recurring occurrence that you do not to delete. In the Delete Options section, clear the selection for the Delete All Recurring Instances option if you do not want to delete all the linked appointments. Note: This option is selected by default. Delete an Appointment From Clinical History/Notes
You can delete an appointment from the Clinical History/Notes tab of the Patient Chart window: From the main toolbar, select Chart. The Patient Chart window opens. Click the Clinical History/Notes tab. From the list of topics in the Topics section, click the Appointments topic. The existing appointments for the patient appear in the Details section. Right-click the appointment to be deleted and select Open from the menu. The Edit Appointment window opens. Click the Delete button. A message appears asking to confirm if you want to delete the selected appointment. Click OK to delete the appointment. The appointment is removed from the schedule.
