The purpose of the task is to notify you when an active credit card is close to its expiration date. All credit cards expire on the last day of the month for the expiration date. For example, a credit card with an expiration date of 06/2016 expires on June 30, 2016.
- Open File Maintenance.
- Select .
- On the Task Types List window, select the open menu button
and select New.
- Select the Auto Creation tab and do the following:
- Enter Task Type as defined by your organization.
- In Source, select Account.
- In Default Assigned To for all selected actions, select the applicable users.
- In the Activate column, select Active credit card on file will expire in X days.
- Right-click and select Open.
The Task Type Options window opens.
- In the Parameter 1 field, enter the number of days prior to the expiration date to activate the application message and then select OK.
- Complete the other fields as required by your organization.
- To complete the task, do one of the following:
- Select the Auto Completion tab and complete the following:
- In the Default Completion Reason for all selected actions, select the applicable action
- In the Activate column, select Active card on file disabled
- Select the Auto Worker tab and do the following:
- In the Default Completion Reason for all selected actions field, select the applicable action.
- In the Activate column, select the add collection letter of <unknown> to the account. Send collection letter in next run <Y/N>.
- Right-click and select Open. The Task Type Options window opens.
- Manually create the job.
- In the Parameter 1 (required) field, select the applicable collection letter. This field is populated from the letters created in the .
- In the Parameter 2 (optional) field, if applicable, select the Send collection letter in next run option.
- Select OK.
