Bill an Individual Invoice
To print and bill an individual invoice, do the following:
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select Account.
The Account Lookup window opens.
- In the Employer/Last Name field, enter the employer name.
- Select Find.
The employer displays in the Account List section.
- Double-click the account.
The Account Profile window opens.
- Select the Inv Summary tab.
- Select the invoice to be billed.
- Select Open Menu
> Print > Invoice.
The Demand Invoice window opens. - Review the default Invoice Options and make modifications, if needed.
Note: The default settings are selected in Practice Preferences > Invoices. The defaults for Minimum Invoice Amount and Include Invoices of Status do not apply when printing an individual invoice.
- To preview the invoice, select Preview.
- To print the invoice, select Print.
- When the Update Invoice Dates and Billing Status check box is selected, a message appears that all [n] invoices are printed correctly.
- Do one of the following:
- If the invoice prints correctly, select Yes.
The system do the following:
- The invoice status changes from Unbilled/Rebill to Billed.
- The Final Date is updated to reflect the date the invoice was first printed/billed.
- The Bill Date is updated to reflect the date the invoice was last printed/billed.
- The Last Invoice Print Date and Next Invoice Print Date are updated on the Account Profile > Properties tab.
- If the invoice did not print correctly, select No.
The status and dates listed above are not updated.
- If the invoice prints correctly, select Yes.
