Sort the Appointment Lookup Results

In the Appointment List section of the Appointment Lookup window, the appointments are sorted using the Date/Time column in ascending order by default. To change the sort, select any column header. An up arrow icon appears above the column name, indicating that the appointments are now sorted by the selected column in ascending order. To sort the appointments using the same column in descending order, select the column header again. A down arrow icon appears above the column name, indicating that the appointments are now sorted by the selected column in descending order. Note: After you close the Appointment Lookup window and open it again, the appointments are sorted using the Date/Time column in ascending order by default. You can customize the columns that appear in the Appointment List section of the Appointment Lookup window. Right-click any column header. A context menu opens with the lists all columns that are available for the window. Note: The columns that are included in the current view display a icon. Do one of the following: To add a column to the view, select a column name. To remove a column from the view, clear the selection for the column name. Select OK to save changes and close the window. Search from the Appointment Lookup Window

You can search for the existing appointments for a patient from the Appointment Lookup. To open the Appointment Lookup window, do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select the Appointments button. Select Tasks > Lookup > Appointments. The Appointment Lookup window opens. Enter the search parameters in the Search Criteria section. Select Find. All existing appointments that match the search criteria entered appear in the Appointment List section. The Records Found option displays the total number of appointments listed in the Appointment List section. From the Appointment List, do one of the following: Double-click to open the desired appointment. The Edit Appointment window opens. Select one or more appointments, then right-click and select the desired action from the menu.
