Viewing Demographics Information

The following patient demographic information appears on the Patient Information Bar in NextGen® Enterprise PM: Sex Note: Sex is abbreviated. You can hover over the abbreviation to view the full description. Date of Birth Age Note: In case of expired patients, (Deceased) appears instead of age. Person Number Medical Record Number (MRN) Other ID Number Other ID Number is based on the details in the External tab of the Modify Patient Information. A practice can configure the Patient Information Bar to display up to three additional demographic fields from among the following: Default Guarantor Preferred Language Credit Card On File Preferred Pronoun Primary Care Provider Gender Identity Current Gender Patient Status Note: The Enable patient status option must be enabled in Chart, in Practice Preferences. Viewing Patient Portal Enrollment Status

You can view the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Add Person Information and Add Patient Information windows in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM if the practice uses NextGen® PxP Portal. You can select the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status icon to open the Patient Portal Enrollment window.
