Modify a Recall Plan from the Add/Edit Appointment Window
From the Appointment Book, open the patient’s appointment. The Edit Appointment window opens. Select the Recall/Waitlist tab. The Recalls section of the tab displays existing recalls for the patient. Modify a Recall Plan from the Patient Chart > Patient Information Bar > Recall Plans Button
Note: The Show Patient Information Bar check box must be enabled in Practice Preferences > Patient Information Bar > PM tab, and in General User Preferences > Chart tab. Access the patient’s Chart. On the Patient Information Bar, select the Recall Plans button. The Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab > Recall topic displays. The section on the right displays existing recalls for the patient. Modify a Recall Plan from the Appointment Book
From the Appointment Book, highlight the patient’s appointment. Right-click on the appointment and select Recall from the menu. The Patient Recall window displays existing recalls for the patient. Select the recall to be modified, and then do one of the following: Select the Open Menu button and select Open from the menu. Right-click and select Open from the menu. Select the Open button. Modify Recall Plan
You can modify the Return Date and Last Date, fields in the Edit Recall Plan Window. You cannot modify the Recall Plan and Recall Every fields. You can modify the Event, Resource, and Location fields if you have previously selected the Allow Override option in the Recall Plan window in File Maintenance. In the Edit Recall Pan window, when you select the Messaging Info button to check the messaging information of the recall plan, the Recall Plan Message Information window opens showing the following details: Return date Contact sequence Message schedule date Message sent date Message sent method Message result Note: You can sort the columns in the Recall Plan Message Information window and also see upto 18 messages at a time. Modify a Recall Plan from the Appointment Lookup Window
On the main toolbar, select the ApptList button. The Appointment Lookup window opens. Enter the appropriate Search Criteria to locate an appointment for the patient. Select Find. In the Appointment List section, right-click on the patient’s appointment and select Recall from the menu. The Patient Recall window displays existing recalls for the patient. Select the recall to be modified, and then do one of the following: Select the Open Menu button and select Open from the menu. Right-click and select Open from the menu. Select the Open button. Modify a Recall Plan
A patient’s existing Recall Plan can be modified from the following areas in NextGen® Enterprise PM: Appointment Book Add/Edit Appointment window > Recall/Waitlist tab Appointment List/Lookup Chart > Patient Information Bar > Recall Plans button Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab Chart > Encounters tab Checkin / Checkout AutoFlow Sequence > Patient Recall Note: If a patient’s recall plan has been stopped, ether automatically by the system or manually by a user, it cannot be modified.
