You can use Filter 1 on the Report Filter window to define the date range for which you want the data to appear on the report. Other options found on Filter 1 vary by report (e.g. Encounter Status, Charge Type, Appointment Status, Include/Exclude Unapplied Credits, Aging Dates, etc.), and can be used to include or exclude certain data accordingly. For example, if on the Appointment Listing report you select No Show in the Appt Statuses field on Filter 1, then only appointments marked as No Show appear on the report. You can rearrange the columns on a report, so they appear in the order you want. Access the Report Filter > Columns Settings List. Select the row for the desired Column Name. To move the column up or down, do one of the following: Select the single blue arrow ( or ) button to move the selected row above or below the next row. Select the double blue arrow ( or ) button to move the selected row to the top or the bottom of the list. Note: The order the selected columns appear in the Columns list on the Report Filter window, top to bottom, is how they appear on the report, left to right. All reports have columns and filters that you can use to customize the report data and format. You can modify the reports by: Adding and removing columns. Selecting different sorting and grouping orders. Selecting new ways of totaling the columns. Modifying the criteria used for each report that you generate, such as specific date ranges for a rendering provider. Because each report generates different information, the filter criteria available to you depends on the report you are creating. After you have modified a report filter to fit your needs, you can memorize it so you can run the report at another time. To open the Report Filter window, do one of the following: Select a report from the Reports menu. If a report is already open, select the Report Filter toolbar button. Right-click on an open report, and then select Filter. Some common elements display on the Report Filter window for each report. The Filter 2 configuration allows you to use columns as additional filter criteria for narrowing down the data on a report. Data must match all the defined criteria to appear on the report. Access the Configuration Options window for the desired enhanced report. In the Configuration Options list on the left, select Filter 2. The Filter 2 window appears. Note: The Filter 2 options (columns) available for selection are different on each report. Modify the Filter 2 options as needed for the report. Select a column, then select one of the following for the column, and then enter the specific free-text criteria for the column. For example, Zip equals 19044. Between Equals Not Equals Greater Than Less Than Like When finished, do one of the following: To configure additional filters for the report, select the desired Configuration Options on the left. The Filter options enable you to set your report criteria, such as date ranges and statuses. The settings determine which data appears in the columns of your reports. The filter options that display depend on the filter data applicable to the report. Each filter you use creates a limitation of the data that is 'allowed' to display on the report. If you use parameters from Filter 1 and then use parameters from another filter option, such as Filter 2, only the data that matches the parameters for both Filter 1 and 2 display on the report. The more parameters and filters you use, the more specific and limited the data is on your report.
