Applying Credit Card and ECheck Payments for TSYS Transaction Central Processing

Electronic payments for clients using TSYS Transaction Central can be performed by manually entering card data or swiping the card on a card reader. The card reader payment devices enable you to accept electronic payments when you have an active connection to the internet. You can apply electronic payments using the following methods: Swipe a credit card on one of the devices Manually key data into the Payment Processing window Apply an ECheck Payment Apply a Credit Card Payment for TSYS Transaction Central You can apply credit card payment using TSYS Transaction Central processor. Configure Payment Processing for TSYS Transaction Central

In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Preference > Practice. The Practice Preferences window opens. Select Payment Processing. In the Credit Card Processor field, select TSYS-Central. To set up payment processing for TSYS Transaction Central, do the following: Merchant ID - Enter the assigned identifying number for the credit card transactions. Reg Key - Enter the security key supplied to you by TSYS Transaction Central. Select Payment Method and Bad Debt Payment Method. Set Up Location Payment Processing for TSYS Transaction Central

If the location has been issued a Merchant ID or a Reg Key that is different from the IDs for the practice, you must enter the location codes for electronic payment processing. These codes become the default codes for the location. These location-level settings override the Practice Preferences > Payment Processing settings. You can override these defaults on the User Preferences window on the Payment tab. Note: If you set the merchant ID at the location level, you must also set a merchant ID at the practice level. If your organization uses a unique Merchant ID for each location, then you must complete the following optional procedure. Select File Maintenance > Master Files > Locations. The Locations List window opens. Double-click on the desired location in the locations list. Select the Payment Processing tab. The Credit Card Processor field displays the processor selected in the Payment Processing Practice Preferences window. You cannot modify the field. Complete the following field

Set Up User Preferences for TSYS Transaction Central

The preferences set up in the User Preferences window will override the defaults setup in practice preferences and location settings In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Preference > User > General. The User Preferences window opens. Select Payment Processing. The Credit Card Processor field displays the processor selected in the Payment Processing Practice Preferences window. You cannot modify the field. To set up payment processing for TSYS Transaction Central, do the following: Merchant ID- Enter the assigned identifying number for the credit card transactions.
