Resetting Statement Print Dates

When printing or exporting an individual demand statement or a batch of statements, if the Update Last Statement Dates check box is selected on the Statement Options window and you select the Print or Export button. A confirmation message appear stating that the statements are printed or exported correctly. If you select Yes on the message, the following parameters are updated on the Account Profile, Properties tab for every guarantor account in the batch. The accounts will not qualify for another statement until they again meet or exceed the Number of Days between Statements defined in Practice Preferences > Statements. Last Statement Print Date Next Statement Print Date Statement Counter If after selecting Yes to the message, you discover that the batch did not actually print or export correctly (e.g., paper jam on printer), the statements cannot be regenerated because the above parameters have already been updated for each guarantor account. Print or Export a Patient Statement from Patient Lookup

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Chart. The Patient Lookup window opens. Enter the Search Criteria fields to locate the desired patient. Select Find. From the search results in the Matching Records section, right-click on the patient and select Statement from the menu. The Patient Statement window opens. The default settings on the Patient Statement > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Note: The Enterprise, Practice, Location and Provider filter tabs are not available when printing an individual demand patient statement. Specify an Alternate Location Address for Remitting Statements

You can specify an alternate address for a location as the "remit to" address for statements. If you choose to print one statement for each location in NextGen® Enterprise PM, the application uses this alternate address if it exists. Open the Practice tab of the Locations master file. Under Statement Remit To section, select the Use Alternate "Remit To" Address check box to make the remaining fields available. Enter the alternate address for remittance in the appropriate name and address fields. Select OK. Note: If you clear the Use Alternate "Remit To" Address check box or if no alternate address information exists at this practice location level, then the system level location address on the Location Defaults tab prints as the remit address. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. To open the Patient Statement window from the Charge Posting window, do the following: Select Charges. The Charge Posting window opens. Select the patient and encounter.
