Set Up Limits for an Event
The Limits tab on the Add Event or Edit Event window is used when you want to limit the number of appointments that can be scheduled in a day for an event. The limits are defined per resource and can be by the day of the week or by a specific date.
When a resource has reached their daily appointment limit for the event, the following apply:
- When attempting to schedule another appointment on that day for the event and resource, a scheduling conflict is generated. The appointment can only be scheduled if the user has security access rights to override appointment conflicts.
- When using the Appointment Search Ahead window to schedule an appointment for the event, the search results do not find or display appointment time slots for resources who have reached their daily limit.
