Require UDS Fields at the Practice Level

  1. Access NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Enable UDS fields for the enterprise.
  3. From the Admin menu, select Preferences, and then Practice.
    The Practice Preferences window opens.
  4. From the Preference List on the left, do one of the following:
    • If you require UDS fields when appointments are scheduled, select Appt Scheduling.
    • If you require UDS fields when charts are created, select Chart.
  5. To require specific UDS fields, select the check box for those fields In the Required Fields section.
    A green check mark indicates the field is required.

  6. To save changes and close the window, select OK.
