Outsource Charges for Multiple Payers

To outsource charges for multiple payers, ensure to enable outsourcing in the Practice Preferences window by selecting Enable outsourcing on the General Preference List.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Select File > Processes > Outsource Charges.
    The Outsource Process window opens.
  3. On the General tab, enter the required search criteria.
  4. Select the Payer tab.

  5. Select the Open Record icon.
    The Payers window opens.

  6. Select the blue arrow button to move the desired payers from the Available section on the left to the Included section on the right.
  7. To save changes and close the window, select OK.
  8. To find all charges that match the selected General tab and Payer tab parameters, select Find.
    The search results display in the Charges section.
  9. Select the check box on the left for all charges to be outsourced.
  10. Do one of the following:
    • To generate and view a report for the selected charges, select Report.
    • To outsource the selected charges, select Outsource.
    • To cancel the outsource process, select Close.
