View Latest Successful Eligibility Response from Encounter Lookup

Before you begin Submit NextGen® Eligibility Verification request for a patient. See Submit Eligibility Requests. You can view the latest successful response from the encounter lookup. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Encounter. The Encounter Lookup window opens. Using the search criteria, find the patient. The search result displays the list of encounters for the patient. Right-click the encounter and select Eligibility Verification > View Latest Successful Response The system searches for the eligibility response for the latest successful transaction occurred during the time period specified in the user preferences. If the eligibility response is available, the Real-Time Eligibility Response page opens displaying the response for the latest successful transaction. If the eligibility response is not available, a message appears stating that the successful eligibility response for the specified period is not found. Parent topic: Eligibility Responses

Before you begin Submit NextGen® Eligibility Verification request for a patient. See Submit Eligibility Requests. To view the latest NextGen® Eligibility Verification response from an appointment in the appointment lookup, do the following: In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select ApptList. The Appointment Lookup window opens. Using the search criteria, find the appointment with the NextGen® Eligibility Verification request and yet to receive the response. Right-click the appointment and select Eligibility Verification > View Latest Successful Response. The system searches for the eligibility response for the latest successful transaction during the time period specified in the user preferences. If the eligibility response is available, the Real-Time Eligibility Response page opens displaying the response for the latest successful transaction. If the eligibility response is not available, a message appears stating that the successful eligibility response for the specified period is not found.

You can view the response for the latest successful transaction from the encounter on the patient chart.. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Encounter. The Encounter Lookup window opens. Using the search criteria, find the patient. The search result displays the list of encounters for the patient. On the Encounter Lookup window, double-click the encounter. The patient chart for the patient opens. The list of encounters for the patient is displayed in the Encounters window. On the Encounters list, right-click the encounter you want to view and select Eligibility Verification > View Latest Successful Response. The system searches for the eligibility response for the latest successful transaction occurred during the time period specified in the user preferences. View Latest Successful Eligibility Response from Appointment Information

Before you begin Submit NextGen® Eligibility Verification request for a patient. See Submit Eligibility Requests for more information. Set the appointment information. For details on how to set the tooltip, see Set Scheduling Preferences for Tooltips in Layout and User Preferences Guide for NextGen Enterprise PM. You can view the latest successful response from the appointment information for pending transactions. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Appbook. The appointment book opens. Locate the appointment for the patient for whom you have submitted the NextGen® Eligibility Verification request and do one of the following: Select the appointment. Right-click the appointment and select Appointment Information. The tooltip displays the appointment information. The Primary Insurance Eligibility Status shows the status of the eligibility check.
