Hide a Program Enrollment

You can hide a patient's program enrollment if needed from the Patient Chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM. For example, if you enrolled the patient in the wrong program, you can hide the enrollment to prevent users from linking that program to encounters. When a program enrollment has been hidden, that program is not available for selection on encounters for the patient. If a program enrollment is hidden after the program was linked to one or more patient encounters, the program remains linked to those encounters for reporting purposes. Note: NextGen® Enterprise PM removes it from the BH-Program Enrollment template in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Access the Patient Chart. Select the Patient Information tab, and then the Programs sub-tab. Existing program enrollments for the patient are listed. Sort Program Enrollments

The default sort for program enrollments listed in the Patient Chart on the Programs sub-tab of the Patient Information tab is by Name in ascending order. You can change the default sort as follows. To change the sort, select a column header: Name Program Primary Provider Program Enrollment Date Program Discharge Date Program Location Program Category An up arrow icon displays to the left of the column name, indicating the enrollments are now sorted by that column in ascending order. To sort by the same column in descending order, select the column header again. A down arrow icon displays to the left of the column name, indicating the enrollments are now sorted by that column in descending order. Modify a Program Enrollment

You can modify a patient's program enrollment if needed from the Patient Chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Access the Patient Chart. Select the Patient Information tab, and then the Programs sub-tab. Existing program enrollments for the patient are listed. To modify a program enrollment, select it from the list and then do one of the following: Select Open Menu and then select Open. Right-click and then select Open. Double-click to open the enrollment. The [Patient Name] - Program Enrollment window opens. The Program Category, Program and Program Enrollment Date fields are disabled and cannot be modified. In the Program Primary Provider field, select the provider responsible for directing and managing the patient's program, if applicable. The primary provider may or may not render services under the program. In the Program Location field, select a location for the program. This may be used for clinical purposes in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and is informational only in NextGen® Enterprise
