Hide a Resource

If you hide a resource for a practice, then the resource is no longer available for selection in NextGen® Enterprise PM. For example, a provider has left the practice and therefore appointments should no longer be scheduled for that resource.

If a resource is hidden, all existing appointments for the resource are retained. Therefore, they remain in a patient’s appointment history and are still available for appointment reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM.

  1. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin.
    The Scheduling Administration window opens.
  2. Select the Resources tab.
  3. From the list, select the resource to be hidden.
  4. Right-click and select Hide.
    A message appears asking you to confirm if you want to hide the resource.
  5. Select Yes to hide the resource.
    The resource is removed from the list.
