Unhide a Resource

You can unhide a resource when hidden by mistake. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. Select the Resources tab. Select the Include Hidden Items check box. From the list of resources, select the resource that you want to unhide. Right-click and select Hide from the menu. Hide a Resource

If you hide a resource for a practice, then the resource is no longer available for selection in NextGen® Enterprise PM. For example, a provider has left the practice and therefore appointments should no longer be scheduled for that resource. If a resource is hidden, all existing appointments for the resource are retained. Therefore, they remain in a patient’s appointment history and are still available for appointment reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. Select the Resources tab. From the list, select the resource to be hidden. Right-click and select Hide. A message appears asking you to confirm if you want to hide the resource. Printing a Resource

In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Administration. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. On the Resources tab, select the resource that you want to print. Select the open menu button, and select Print. The NextGen Report Filter: Resource Listing window opens. Note: The report has the following options: Columns Filter 2 Sort Totals Select OK on the report. The Resource Listing report opens with the following details of the resources. Resources Tab - Sched Admin

On the Resources tab, you define people, places, and things for which appointments are scheduled. Existing resources are listed on the tab with the following information: Resource: Name of the resource. Type: Type of resource (Person, Place or Thing). Interval: Time interval defined for the resource. Template: Type of template used for the resource (weekly or daily). Max Template Date: The last date to which a template is applied for the resource. Provider Subgrouping 1 and 2: Provider subgroupings for the resource, if defined in the Providers master file. Note: The Interval column appears only when the Allow interval overrides check box is selected in the Appt Scheduling tab of the Practice Preferences window. View Hidden Events

Hidden events do not appear on the Events tab in Scheduling Administration window. However, you can select to display hidden events, if needed. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. Select the Events tab. Select the Include Hidden Items option to view hidden events. The hidden events display in the list with a hide icon on the left. Clear the Include Hidden Items check box. Edit Resource - Enterprise Scheduling Admin

In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Scheduling Administration > Enterprise Scheduling Administration. The Enterprise Scheduling Administration window opens. On the Resources tab, select the open menu button and select Open. The Resources Selection window opens. In the Practices list, select a practice. The resources from the selected practice appear in the Resources column. Note: The Practices list, displays only the practices that the current enterprise user has access to.
