Filter Encounters in Accounts

You can filter the list of encounters on the Encounters Detail tab of the Account Profile window to display only those encounters that meet the filter criteria.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. From the Tasks menu, select Lookup > Accounts.
    The Account Lookup window opens.
  3. To search for a person account, enter the search criteria data, and then select Find.
    You can use different combinations of the search criteria to search for a person's account.
    Accounts that match the search criteria appear in the Account List section.
  4. Double-click a person account.
    The Account Profile window opens.
  5. Select the Encounters Detail tab.
    All patients linked to the account appear in the Guarantor Information section.
  6. To list all encounters for a patient, double-click the patient.
  7. To filter the encounters based on a specific criteria, select Filter.

  8. Enter the filter criteria, and then select Search.
    Encounters matching the filter criteria appear in the Guarantor Information section.
  9. To clear all selected filters, select Clear.
  10. Select Close.
