Viewing Patient Provider Information
You can view the following patient provider information in the Provider tab under Patient Information: Provider Name name of the primary care provider. Speciality Displays the speciality of the primary care provider. Eff date Displays the date when the provider became the primary care provider. Exp Date Displays the date the provider ceased to become the primary care provider. Exp Reason Displays the reason the provider ceased to be the primary care provider. You can modify the provider information using the Provider tab of the Modify Patient Information window. Closing Out
During the closing process, manual or automatic, NextGen® Enterprise PM stamps each charge and transaction with a process date. When you perform the Closing Process, any financial aspects of the charges dated before the current processing date can no longer be modified. You can, however, still change: Rendering physician Modifiers Place of service Applying a date stamp, such as the process date, allows accurate financial reporting on daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Activate Auto Close The Auto Close process occurs every night when the system calendar date changes on the database server. You can activate auto close in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Manual Practice Closing Closing an application manually enables you to extend the process date and delete charges. Daily Balancing for the Front Office and Back Office Daily balancing reports helps you perform front office and back office functions.

The General tab of Contract Library Maintenance window consists of the following sections: Contract Information Contract Defaults Alerts and Edits Allowed and FFS/Balance Distribution Automatic Adjustments General Information fields NextGen® Enterprise PM uses the General Information tab fields to determine the contract rules. Filter Dates
You can filter reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM to include data within a specified date range. The following types of dates can be used as filters on the Filter 1 tab of the Report Filter window.
