You can remove the current patient linked to the appointment and link a new patient to the same event at the scheduled time.
- Select the appointment to change the linked patient, and double-click to open the Edit Appointment window.
- Select the open menu
button next to the patient's name and select Clear Patient.
A message appears asking you to confirm if you want to delete the linked patient.
- Select OK to remove the incorrect patient from the appointment.
- To add the correct patient to the appointment, select the open menu
button and select Lookup.
The People Lookup window opens.
- Do one of the following:
- To select an existing person or patient for the appointment, enter the appropriate search criteria and then select Find.
- Select New to add a person or patient for the appointment.
- Select OK to save changes and close the window.
