Change the Patient Linked to an Appointment

You can remove the current patient linked to the appointment and link a new patient to the same event at the scheduled time.
  1. Select the appointment to change the linked patient, and double-click to open the Edit Appointment window.
  2. Select the open menu button next to the patient's name and select Clear Patient.
    A message appears asking you to confirm if you want to delete the linked patient.
  3. Select OK to remove the incorrect patient from the appointment.
  4. To add the correct patient to the appointment, select the open menu button and select Lookup.
    The People Lookup window opens.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To select an existing person or patient for the appointment, enter the appropriate search criteria and then select Find.
    • Select New to add a person or patient for the appointment.
  6. Select OK to save changes and close the window.
