Cancel Multiple Appointments

When you cancel an appointment for a patient who has multiple appointments, either on the same day or future, you can cancel all appointments at the same time if needed. For example, if a patient has three appointments on the same day, you can cancel all three at the same time.

  1. Open the Appointment Book window.
  2. Select an appointment to be canceled.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the appointment and select Mark as Canceled.
    • Open an appointment and select the Cancelled option on the Edit Appointment window.
  4. From the list of reasons, select the reason for canceling the appointment.
  5. Select OK to save changes and close the window.
    If the patient has multiple appointments either on the same day or in the future, the Cancel Appointment window opens.

  6. Do the following:
    • Select other linked or unlinked appointments that should be canceled.
    • Clear the selection for the other linked or unlinked appointments that you do not want to cancel.
  7. Select OK.
    A message appears asking you to confirm if you want to cancel the appointment.
  8. Select OK to cancel the selected appointment.
    The appointments are removed from the schedule.
