Appointment Reminder Letters

Appointment Reminder letters are the mechanism used in NextGen® Enterprise PM to remind patients of their upcoming scheduled appointment. The type of letter generated is determined by the setup in File Maintenance. Letters are created in the Letters master file for each practice. The letters are then linked to specific Locations, Resources or Events in the Appointment Reminders master file. A Default Appt Reminder letter is selected in Practice Preferences > Appt Scheduling.

You can print a single appointment reminder letter for an individual patient on demand, or you can print multiple letters in a batch for all patients that qualify for a letter.
