You can enter the following data on the
Demographics tab of the
Add Person Information or
Add Patient Information window,
- General Information that includes name, sexual profile, social security number, and birth date. Significant events are generated when a patient changes their gender identity, sexual orientation, or preferred pronoun.
- Contact Information that includes phone numbers, email address, and preferred contact methods.
- Demographic Information that includes marital status, student status, preferred language, religious information, and dental and primary provider. You can also enroll the patient in the Enterprise Chart feature.
- Insurance Information that includes insurers, authorizations, referrals, and eligibility inquiries.
The optional and mandatory fields that appear on the Add Person Information or Add Patient Information window can be configured by the system administrator in the enterprise and practice preferences in File Maintenance.
