Add or Modify Dunning Messages
- Open File Maintenance.
- Select Master Files > Practice > Dunning Messages.
The Dunning Messages List window opens.
- Do one of the following:
- To add new dunning messages, select Open Menu
and select New.
- To modify existing dunning messages, select the item in the list, select the Open Menu button and select Open.
The Dunning Message Master Maintenance window opens.Note: The display of the window is determined by the Dunning messages by Aging or Dunning messages by Statement Counter setting in Practice Preferences > Statements. - To add new dunning messages, select Open Menu
- In the Dunning Master Name field, enter a name for the set of dunning messages being defined. The name does not print on statements. This is a required field.
- In the Note field, enter any additional information for the messages being defined. The note does not print on statements.
- The first column displays one of the following:
- Select Aging Category, The Aging Category displays pre-defined categories that cannot be modified. The categories are: 0-30, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120 and 121+.
- Select Statement Counter, The Statement Counter displays pre-defined counters that cannot be modified. The counters are: 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4+.
- In the Message field for each category or counter, enter a message to print in the body of statements after the last encounter listed. An entry is not required for each category or counter.
- To save changes and close the window, select OK.
