Set Up Default General Preferences - Anes Printing Tab
You can configure the Gantt chart version of the
Anesthesia Concurrency Audit
report in
NextGen® Enterprise PM
.
Note:
The
Anes Printing
tab is available only if an
Anesthesia Library
is selected in
Libraries
preference in the Practice Preferences.
From the
Default User Prefs - General List
window, open a master file.
The
Default User Preferences - General
window opens.
Select the
Anes Printing
tab.
Select
Report Main Title
, and then enter a title to print in the header of the Gantt chart version of the
Anesthesia Concurrency Audit
report.
To print the practice name in the header of the Gantt chart, select the
Practice Title
check box.
To print the report type, either
All Encounters
or
Errors Only
, in the header of the Gantt chart, select the
Report Type
check box.
To print the date and time in the header of the Gantt chart, select the
Date / Time
check box.
To print the target encounter number and patient name in the header of the Gantt chart, select the
Target Encounter Information
check box.
To save changes and close the window, select
OK
.

Setup Default General Preferences - Chart Tab
The Chart user preferences enable you to make settings that have an impact on specific areas of the Patient Chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Default User Prefs - General List window, open a master file. The Default User Preferences - General window opens. Select the Chart tab. In theDefault Word Processorfield, select one of the following to use as the default processor when creating notes in patient charts: Wordpad Word ® In theEncounter List Default Displaysection, select from the following options for the default display of encounters in patient charts: Encounter Date: view encounters listed by date. Encounter Number (default): Select this check box to view encounters listed by number. Both: view encounters listed by date and number. Note: You must select at least one check box. The Printing user preferences enable you to make settings that have an impact on the various types of documents that can be printed in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Note: Settings made in Practice Preferences > Printing apply to all users in the practice. Settings made in your General User Preferences > Printing override the practice-level settings. From the Default User Prefs - General List window, open a master file. The Default User Preferences - General window opens. Select the Printing tab. In theFee Ticketssection, do the following: To preview before printing fee tickets, select thePrint previewcheck box. Set up Anes Printing Preferences
You can configure the Gantt chart version of theAnesthesia Concurrency Auditreport inNextGen® Enterprise PM. Note: TheAnes Printingtab is available only if anAnesthesia Libraryis selected inLibrariespreference in the Practice Preferences. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences > User > General. The User Preferences window opens. Select the Anes Printing tab. User preferences Anes Printing tab SelectReport Main Title, and then enter a title to print in the header of the Gantt chart version of theAnesthesia Concurrency Auditreport. Print the Concurrency Audit Report
Select the Anesthesia Audit Print Options button on the report toolbar. The Anesthesia Audit Print Options window opens. In the Report Type section, do one of the following: Select the Memorized Audit Report button. In the drop-down field, select a previously memorized version of the report. Note: If this button is selected, the Header Options section is not available. Select the Gantt Chart Report button. In the drop-down field, select either Errors Only or All Encounters for the report. Note: If this button is selected, the Header Options section is available. In the Header Options section, do the following: In the Main Title field, enter a title to print in the header of the report. Select the check box for one or more of the following options to print in the header of the Gantt Chart Report: Practice Title, Report Type, Date/Time, Target Encounter Information. Note: Default settings for the Header Options can be defined in General User Preferences > Anes Print tab. To save changes

Report Toolbar Buttons
The following table describes each button available on the report toolbar in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Button Description Print Report: Select to print the report. Note: The report is sent to the default printer defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the user has specified a different printer in their General User Preferences > Printing, it overrides the printer defined in Practice Preferences. Anesthesia Audit Print Options: Select to view and modify the Anesthesia Audit Print Options. Note: Default settings can be defined in General User Preferences > Anes Printing tab. Preview Report: Select to view a print preview of the report. Memorize Report: Select to memorize and save the current report configuration for future use. The Memorize Report window appears. Enter a name and select a report type for the memorized report, and then select the OK button. Memorized reports are accessed from the Reports button on the main toolbar, or from the Reports menu in NextGen® Enterprise PM.

Set up Print Report Trigger
The Print Report action can be triggered to automatically generate and print a specific Crystal Report from a template. You can select options to: Preview the report before printing it. Print the report on a default printer. Print the report from a non-production database using the NextGen® Report Server. Print and save the report to the patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Generate and save the report to the patient's chart without printing it. Note: The report name cannot exceed 128 characters, including spaces. For more information on Crystal Reports, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Reports User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Print Report action. The Print Report window opens. Select the report you want to print from the reports listed in the window. If you have set up an Alternate Report Path Universal Preference, select the Alternate Path check box to display the reports
