Provider Practice Preferences

The Provider Practice Preferences enable you to set up user-defined patient provider fields that define, at the practice level, the different types of providers that a patient has seen or is scheduled to see. It also enables you to track multiple user-defined patient providers at a demographic level.

The information you enter here displays:

• The provider in the Provider master file on the Provider Types tab.
• The Preference Name field on the Add Patient Provider window in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
