Processing Payments
Before you enable the electronic payment processing methods, you must set up the TSYS or InstaMed® credit card processors. Setting up credit card processors allow your practice to accept electronic payments through Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, or Check.
To enable electronic payments, you must configure the following:
- Security rights in System Administrator.
- Credit card processing in Enterprise Preferences.
- Unique transaction codes in File Maintenance.
- InstaMed, TSYS Transaction Central ®, or TSYS Express ® for payment processing in Payment Processing preference of the Practice Preferences window.
