Practice Preferences for Processing Payments
Before you turn on electronic payment processing methods, you must set up the TSYS® or InstaMed® credit card processors. Credit card processors allow your practice to accept electronic payments through Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express®, Discover®, or check.
To turn on electronic payments, you must configure the following:
- Security rights in System Administrator.
 - Credit card processing in Enterprise Preferences.
 - Unique transaction codes in File Maintenance.
 - InstaMed, TSYS Transaction Central, or TSYS Express for payment processing in the Practice Preferences window.
