Configuring Payment Processing Preferences

You can set up Payment Processing user preferences when your practice is enrolled with a third-party transaction vendor that processes electronic patient credit card and check payments entered in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The vendors currently supported include InstaMed, TSYS Central, and TSYS Express.

User Preferences Payment tab

The vendor used by the practice, along with other practice-level settings and ID numbers, are defined in Payment Processing in practice preferences.

The options available on the Payment Processing tab in General User Preferences are determined by the vendor selected for the practice.
