Preview Reports

From the report toolbar, select the Preview Report . The Print Preview window opens. If a message displays indicating the report does not fit on the page, select Yes to return to the report display, and then remove and resize columns as necessary If you select No to return to the report, the report shows as much as possible, but some data is cut off. If several columns are cut off, then you should evaluate what information needs to be shown on the report. Parent topic: Previewing a Report

Printing Reports

When a report is generated and displays on your screen, you can print a report from either from the Preview [Report Name] window or selecting Print Report from the report toolbar. Printing from the Preview [Report Name] window enables you to select a printer, a page range, and the number of copies to be printed. If you want to print specific pages instead of the entire report, you need to select the Preview Report . Printing from Print Report on the report toolbar prints directly to your default printer. To successfully print a report from the Preview [Report Name] window, the report must finish processing the data before you close the window. If you need to make changes to the page setup before printing your report, select Page Setup . The Page Setup window opens. Make your selections and then select OK to return to the report. Select Print . The Print window opens. Note: You can change print settings, such as the specific printer, page range, and number of copies, before you print. Your default printer is specified in your printer settings. If you want to send the report to a printer other than your default printer, choose it from the available printer listing. To print, select OK. If you do not need to make changes to page setup or printer settings, select Quick Print to bypass the steps above. The report prints to your default printer.
