Column	Description	Data Originates From
MODULES/OPERATIONS	Lists the associated Enterprise, Practice, and Group names in addition to whether the permission is under MODULES or OPERATIONS in the permissions list.	Enterprise, Practice, and Group names come from the System Administrator directory. Module/Operation data comes from the Rights tab.
Parent Level Security	Name of the first level of the permission subgroup.	Rights tab
Child Level Security	Name of the second level of the permission subgroup.	Rights tab
Access Rights	Indicates with Y or N whether the group members can perform the Operation-level actions.	Rights tab
View/ Add/ Update/ Delete/ Print	Indicates with Y or N whether the group members can perform the Module-level actions.	Rights tab

Generate a Group Listing Report

The Group Listing report lists all the user groups and permissions of each group from System Administrator. On the Reports menu, select Groups List. The Report Filter window displays the following filter options: Columns, Filter 2, Sorting, Totals, and Practices. To set the report criteria, select each filter option and select the filter settings. Select Options to set how numbers will display and the print orientation. User Listing Report Columns

The report uses the information from System Administrator to list the following information: Column Description Data Originates From User Name User's last name Last Name field Login Id User ID Logon Name field User ID Internal user ID that is automatically assigned when the user is created. User ID field Enterprise Enterprise that the user is in. NextGen System Administrator Directory Practice Practice that the user is in. NextGen System Administrator Directory Group Lists the groups that the user is a member of. NextGen System Administrator Directory Hid Indicates with Y or N whether the user is deactivated. Generate a User Listing Report

The User Listing report lists all the users in each enterprise and practice combination and which security groups they are assigned to. On the Reports menu, select Users List. The Report Filter window displays the following filter options: Columns, Filter 2, Sorting, Totals, and Practices. The Filter 1 option is not available because it is not applicable to this report. For each filter option, select the filter settings to determine the information the report will contain. Rights and Permissions

After you add a group to a practice, you must determine the access rights for the group to enable the users to access the NextGen® Enterprise application applicable to their roles. Rights and permissions can be given only at the group level. All users added to a group automatically inherit all the rights and permissions of the group. A user inherits the rights and permissions of all the groups to which they are added. The MODULES permission group provides the list of programs that perform a task. The MODULES permission group enables you to set specific rights for each module and in some cases components of the module. You can choose the following when setting up permissions in the MODULES group. View Add Update Delete Print The OPERATIONS permission group lists the actions or tasks that are carried out within a module by the user. The OPERATIONS permission group enables you to grant or deny rights related to some of the functions of the system by selecting the Yes or No check boxes. MO

Configure User Access Rights

Using System Administrator, you can specify which user groups are allowed to run the Data Share module and the Medical Summary Utility and which actions they can perform. Open System Administrator. In the left pane, expand an enterprise and a practice, and then select a user group. In the right pane, select the Rights tab. Generate Service Package Library Listing Report

To generate the Service Package Library Listing report, do the following: In File Maintenance, select Libraries and then select Service Package. The Service Package List window opens. From the list, select a library and then do one of the following: Select open menu and then select Print > Service Package Library Listing.
