Enable a Provider to Send ePCS
- In File Maintenance, select Master Files > Providers > ePrescribing tab.
- Make sure the following fields are completed on the tabs listed. They are required for the ePCS service level:
- EHR tab: Practice Name
- Demographics tab: First Name, Last Name, Street, City, State, Zip, Phone, Fax, E-mail Address
- Practice tab: DEA Number (must be a valid DEA number or blank)
- System tab: National Provider ID
Note: The address fields cannot contain a PO Box. - In the Retail Service Level section, make sure the New Rx and Refill Request check boxes are selected, and then select the ePCS check box.
