Enable a Provider to Send ePCS

  1. In File Maintenance, select Master Files > Providers > ePrescribing tab.
  2. Make sure the following fields are completed on the tabs listed. They are required for the ePCS service level:
    • EHR tab: Practice Name
    • Demographics tab: First Name, Last Name, Street, City, State, Zip, Phone, Fax, E-mail Address
    • Practice tab: DEA Number (must be a valid DEA number or blank)
    • System tab: National Provider ID
  3. In the Retail Service Level section, make sure the New Rx and Refill Request check boxes are selected, and then select the ePCS check box.
