Add or Modify a Lens Tint

You can set up a list of tints that can be added to a lens to specify the SIM code associated with it. This list appears in the Tint field on the eyeglass order form.
  1. On the Tints tab, do one of the following:
    • To add a new item, select open menu and select New.
    • To modify an item, double-click the item to open.
    The Lens Tints window opens.
  2. In Description, enter a description for the tint.
  3. In SIM Code, select the question mark symbol to search for and select a code or description associated with the lens material, and select OK.
  4. To indicate whether this item is taxable, select Taxable.
  5. To use this tint for only VSP orders, select For use on VSP orders only.
  6. To add more detail, select Note and add your comments.
  7. To hide an item in the list, select Hide.
  8. On the External tab, select open menu and select New.
    The Add External Interface window opens.
  9. In External System, select VisionWeb or VSP as an external provider.
  10. In External Description, select a description for the system and select OK.
  11. Select Next to add another item or OK to return to the Lens Tints.
