The library is a template of service item pricing information that you define and then copy to multiple service item libraries at the same time. You should use SIM pricing templates if you have a lot of Service Item libraries that need to be updated.
- Open File Maintenance and select .
The SIM Pricing Template List window opens.
- Select the open menu
button, and then select New.
The
SIM Pricing Template window opens.
Note: You can double-click an existing SIM pricing template to modify the values.
- Enter a name in the SIM Pricing Template Name field.
- Enter values in all the fields.
- Select the open menu button under SIM Library Configurations to configure the SIM library and link the SIM pricing templates to the SIM libraries.
Note: After the configurations have been set up, a green check mark
appears in the
SIM Library Configuration section in the
BBP column that indicates that the configuration will be included in the SIM Pricing Template - Auto Update BBP job. Instead of opening an existing configuration to designate it to be sent to BBP, you can select the
BBP column for the row in the
SIM Library Configuration section or you can right-click the configuration and then select
BBP.
- Select Report to display the Advanced SIM Library Update report.
- To manually start the update, select one or more configurations in the SIM Library Configuration section, and then select the Launch SIM Library Update button.
Note: The
Launch SIM Library Update button becomes unavailable if a
displays in the BBP column for at least one of the selected configurations. These configurations will be used with the SIM Pricing Template Update BBP job.
- Select OK.
