SIM library configurations link SIM Pricing Templates to SIM Libraries. You can use the configurations to update SIM Libraries.
- Open File Maintenance and select .
The SIM Pricing Template List window opens.
- Select the open menu button
and then select New
The
SIM Pricing Template window opens.
Note: You can double-click an existing SIM pricing template to modify the values.
- In the SIM Library Configurations section, select the open menu button and then select New.
The SIM Library Configuration Maintenance window opens.
- In the SIM Library Configuration Name field, enter a name for the configuration.
- Select the open folder
icon to include SIM libraries to the configuration.
- Select the Send to BBP checkbox to include the SIM Library Configuration in the SIM Pricing Template BBP - Auto Update job in NextGen® Background Business Processor.
Note: When the Send to BBP checkbox is selected, the Launch SIM Library Update button is disabled and you cannot manually perform a SIM Library update. If multiple SIM Library Configurations are selected and if the Send to BBP checkbox has been selected in one of them, then the Launch SIM Library Update button is grayed out and unavailable for all the SIM library configurations.
- Select the Add items from SIM Pricing Template to SIM libraries if they do not exist check box to include new service items to a library when they do not currently exist.
- To update SIMs that fall within the Filter Criteria range differently, select the open menu button under Make exceptions for the following SIM ranges and select New.
The SIM Library Configuration Maintenance - SIM Range Exceptions window opens.
- Enter the values and then select OK.
- Select Launch SIM Library Update.
- Select Report to display the Advanced SIM Library Update report.
Note: You can use the report as a tool to ensure the accuracy of configuration data before you run a pricing template update, as well as an audit report of the data that was updated after the update is executed.
- Select OK.
The configuration is added to the SIM Library Configurations list on the SIM Pricing Template window.
