In practice preferences, you can select
Enable Programs to turn on programs in
NextGen® Enterprise PM, with the following functionality:
- The Programs sub-tab appears on the Patient Information tab in the patient chart. You can use this sub-tab to enroll patients in one or more programs.
- The Program field appears on the General tab in the Encounter Maintenance window. You can use this field to link encounters to a program.
- The Program name is displayed for encounters linked to a program on the General sub-tab of the Encounters tab in the patient chart.
You can select the
Required Encounter Level Programs option to make programs mandatory for encounters in specific locations in encounter maintenance. You can select the locations from
Limit to Valid Locations.
