On the Add/Modify Program Information window, the Alerts/Warnings sub-tab under the Practice tab enables you to activate or deactivate the display of program-related warning messages to users in the practice.
Access File Maintenance.
Select System Master Files, then PM, and then Programs.
The Programs List window opens.
From the list, select a program and then do one of the following:
Select Open Menu and then select Open.
Right-click and then select Open.
Double-click to open the program.
The Modify Program Information window opens.
Select the Practice tab, and then Alerts/Warnings on the left.
Select the Enable Encounter Warnings check box to display a warning message to users on the Create Encounter and Encounter Maintenance windows when the Rendering on the encounter does not match the Limit Provider Credentials requirements defined on the System tab.
Note: Hover over the Information icon to display the following tooltip: Encounter warnings will display when attaching a Program to a new encounter if the encounter data does not match the Program criteria for Rendering Provider Credential.
Select the Enable Charge Entry Warnings check box to display a warning message to users on the Charge Posting window when the Svc Item, Diag or Rendering on the charge does not match the Limit Service Items, Limit Diagnoses or Limit Provider Credentials requirements defined on the System tab.
Note: Hover over the Information icon to display the following tooltip: Charge Entry warnings will display when saving a charge if the charge data does not match the Program criteria for valid SIM, valid Diagnosis or Rendering Provider credential.
