Add Radiology Tests

The tests in the Manage Radiology Tests grid create a list of tests that corresponds to the Standard option above the Radiology Tests grid on the Radiology Order template and the Radiology panel of the Single Order template. The Manage Radiology Tests grid does not display any data until you select a value in the filter fields above the grid. The Category and Body Part fields use picklists from the Radiology Picklists panel. Note: Use the fields below the grid to add a radiology test. The fields below the grid are referred to by the corresponding column name. Click in the Category field below the grid to select a category. Select the body part from the Body Part picklist. The Select Procedure window opens. Search for the code in the Procedure field to assign to the test, and click OK. The selected code automatically fills the Code and the Description fields. Manage Radiology Tests

The tests in the Manage Radiology Tests grid on the Radiology Configuration practice template create a list of tests that corresponds to the Standard option above the Radiology Tests grid on the Radiology Order template and the Radiology panel of the Single Order template. The Manage Radiology Tests grid is packaged with an extensive list of radiology codes but they do not appear until you select a value in one of the filter fields above the grid. You can use the Manage Radiology Tests grid to manage and customize the codes to meet your practice's needs. The Manage Radiology Tests panel enables you to do the following: Assign a category and body part to a test Attach picklists to a radiology test Assign a bilateral code and picklist to a radiology test Indicate the laterality for a code The Category and Body Part fields use picklists from the Radiology Picklists panel. Create a Custom Provider Multi-Test List

You can create a multi-test group that is used on the Radiology Order template and the Radiology panel of the Single Order template. The multi-test group appears in the Radiology Tests grid without a CPT code. When you select the multi-test group, the system moves all of the configured tests to the This Order grid. On the Radiology Configuration practice template, go to the Provider Custom Multi-Test panel. Click the Provider field, and select a provider. Enter the Category. The provider and Tests grids display the tests assigned to the category. Enter the Body Part to filter the grid. Enter the description of the multi-test group in the field below the grid, and click Add. Click Add. Select the multi-test group added in step 5. Click the Body Part field above the Tests grid to filter the grid by body part. Update a Provider's Custom Tests List

On the Radiology Configuration practice template, go to the Provider Custom Tests panel. Click the Provider field and select a provider. Enter the Category. Both grids fill with tests for the selected category. Click the Body Part field to filter the grid. To edit a test in the grid, select the test, and do the following: Edit the description in the corresponding field below the grid. To attach a Picklist, click the field below the grid, and select the desired picklist. Click Update. To remove a test, select the test, and click Delete. To add a test, select a test in the Tests grid, and click the left arrow to move the test to the provider's custom list. Note: If you filter the first grid by Body Part and then add a test from the Tests grid associated with a different body part, you will not see the test until you clear the Body Part field above the first grid. Body Part Picklist for Radiology

The values in the Body Part grid on the Radiology Configuration practice template are used to categorize radiology tests by body part. The values in the Body Part field are used as picklists in the following areas: Filter grids by body part In the Manage Radiology Tests grid You can customize this picklist using the Add, Update, and Delete buttons. You can change the order of the values that appear in the picklist using the arrows to the left of the grid. You can change the order the values appear in the picklist. If you delete a row from the Body Part picklist, the system informs you of tests in the Manage Radiology Views grid associated with the body part.
