Generate the HQM Patient Clinical Quality Report

Before you begin

To generate HQM patient clinical quality report, following are the requirements:
  • Select a patient who qualifies for HQM measure reporting data.
  • Have the View Clinical Quality Reporting permission enabled in System Administrator operations rights.

    A non-provider user who is a designated delegate for a provider can view both the patient- and provider-level reports.

To have the latest data displayed in NextGen® Enterprise, a data push must be executed in HQM.

  1. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, search for and open the chart for the patient to generate the report for.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • From the File menu, select Clinical Quality Reporting and then Patient Level CQR.
    • Select Patient CQR on the Top Toolbar.
    • If you have the Patient Information Card enabled, select Patient CQR on it.
    To use the Patient Information Card, you must first enable and configure it in File Maintenance. For instructions on how to configure Practice Preferences for the Patient Information Card, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the File Maintenance Basics Guide for NextGen® Enterprise.

    If the patient has HQM reporting data, the Patient Quality Reporting window opens.

    If any errors are detected, warning or alert messages appear.
