Add Clinical Quality Report Generation Buttons to the Top Toolbar

In NextGen® Enterprise, Provider CQR and Patient CQR buttons are available on the Top toolbar for generating provider-level and patient-level HQM Clinical Quality reports.

Only one button can be active at a time. If a patient chart is open, the Patient CQR button is active, and the Provider CQR button is unavailable. If the patient chart is not open, the Provider CQR button is active, and the Patient CQR button is unavailable. If the selected provider does not participate in HQM, the Provider CQR button stays unavailable. The applicable user permissions and Enterprise Preferences must also be in place for the buttons to be active.

If these buttons do not appear on the Top toolbar, you can add them as follows:

  1. Select the Toolbar Options down arrow at the end of the toolbar.
  2. Select Add or Remove Buttons, Top Toolbar, and the check boxes for Provider CQR and Patient CQR.
