Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions
In the Interview Questions panel, you can configure the scheduling screening questions. You can also associate chart check tasks and/or patient instructions with the screening questions.
- On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Interview Questions panel, click the Section field to choose an option from the resulting list.
- If the available options are not relevant, double-click the top-blank row in the list to type a new value in the Section field.
- Click the Question field to type a new question.
- Click the Answer Type field to select one of the options.
Note: If you select the Picklist option, the Answer, Value type, and Alert text fields are available, otherwise, these fields are not applicable and are not available.
- For all answer types, to indicate that the current answer is one that will require follow-up actions, select the Flag for review check box.
In runtime, the system enters the Flag value in the grid based on the answer selected.
- To associate a chart check task with the answer selected:
- Click Section and select a section from the list.
The list is comprised of sections available in the grid on the Pre Admission Chart Check panel.
- Click Task and select the relevant task from the list.
The list is comprised of tasks configured for the selected section in the Pre Admission Chart Check panel.
- Click Section and select a section from the list.
- To associate patient instructions with the answer selected for a screening question, click Section to choose a value, and then click Instructions and to select an existing instruction.
The instructions associated with the section are first configured in the Patient Instructions panel.
- To remove the documented values from all the fields and start over, click Clear.
- Click Add.
The new details appear in the grid.
- Save the practice template. The items configured here appear in the runtime on the Interview Questions panel found on both the ASC - Scheduling Questions and ASC - Pre admission templates.
