Set Up Interview Questions Based on a Group

You can associate screening questions to a group of patients if those questions are associated to a display criteria. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Additional Questions to Display panel, click Group Name to select a name that includes the applicable question display criteria. Click Section to select a value from the resulting list. Click Question to choose from the list of questions associated with the selected section. To remove the data and start over, click the Clear button. Click Add. Save the practice template. Associate Procedures to Preadmission Questions

On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Procedure Association panel, Content Type filter, select Interview Questions. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. Click Section and select a section from the list. To clear the chosen section, click Section again and select the top-blank row in the list to type a section name. Click the Question field to open a list of screening questions associated with the chosen section. The screening questions are configured in the Interview Questions panel. Create Answers in a Picklist

On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config template, Interview Questions panel, enter the required data for the preadmission interview question. Click Value type and select one of the following options: Mutually exclusive - enables the selection of only one item from the list in runtime Multiple choice - enables multiple items to be selected from the list in runtime Continue from step 4 of Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions. Determine the Order of Interview Elements

On the Interview Questions panel, the Sections, Questions, and Answers are shipped in alphabetical order. You can choose where you would like these items to appear in runtime. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config template, Interview Questions panel, enter the required data for the preadmission interview question. Select one of the sorting options. Highlight the grid row for the section, question, or answer to be moved. Click the promote or demote sort buttons to change the order based on the sorting option selected. Save the practice template. Edit Existing Interview Questions

On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Interview Questions panel, select the row in the grid to be modified. The fields above the grid populate with the corresponding data. Make relevant changes in the applicable fields. Click Update. The modified details update in the grid. You may have to log out of the system to see the changes in runtime. Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions

In the Interview Questions panel, you can configure the scheduling screening questions. You can also associate chart check tasks and/or patient instructions with the screening questions. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Interview Questions panel, click the Section field to choose an option from the resulting list. If the available options are not relevant, double-click the top-blank row in the list to type a new value in the Section field. Click the Question field to type a new question. Click the Answer Type field to select one of the options. Note: If you select the Picklist option , the Answer, Value type, and Alert text fields are available, otherwise, these fields are not applicable and are not available. For all answer types, to indicate that the current answer is one that will require follow-up actions, select the Flag for review check box.
