Set Up Interview Questions Based on a Group

You can associate screening questions to a group of patients if those questions are associated to a display criteria. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Additional Questions to Display panel, click Group Name to select a name that includes the applicable question display criteria. Click Section to select a value from the resulting list. Click Question to choose from the list of questions associated with the selected section. To remove the data and start over, click the Clear button. Click Add. Save the practice template. Create Follow-up Questions

To set the current screening question as a follow-up question, associate it to an existing question. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config template, Interview Questions panel, enter the required data for the preadmission interview question. To associate it to an existing questions, select the Primary Question check box. Click Section and select the section of the existing question to be associated to this follow-up question. Click Question and select the primary question. Click Answer to select the answer that will prompt the follow-up question. Continue from step 3 of Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions. Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions

In the Interview Questions panel, you can configure the scheduling screening questions. You can also associate chart check tasks and/or patient instructions with the screening questions. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Interview Questions panel, click the Section field to choose an option from the resulting list. If the available options are not relevant, double-click the top-blank row in the list to type a new value in the Section field. Click the Question field to type a new question. Click the Answer Type field to select one of the options. Note: If you select the Picklist option , the Answer, Value type, and Alert text fields are available, otherwise, these fields are not applicable and are not available. For all answer types, to indicate that the current answer is one that will require follow-up actions, select the Flag for review check box. Click the Instruction field to open a list of patient instructions associated with the selected section. The instructions are configured in the Patient Instructions panel. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Procedure Association panel, Content Type filter, select Chart Check. Click Procedure and select a procedure from the list. Click Section and select a section from the list. To include a description in the association, click Description to select a value from the resulting list. To clear the selected section and start over, click Section again and select the top-blank row in the list. Click the Task field to open a list of pre-admission chart check tasks associated with the selected section. The tasks are configured in the Pre Admission Chart Check panel. In the Additional Question Display Criteria panel, you can configure criteria to display additional questions in the Interview Questions panel. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Additional Question Display Criteria panel, click Group Name to select from the resulting list. To add a new group name, double-click the top-blank row in the list and type in the Group Name field. Note: Additional questions are configured in the Additional Questions to Display panel. Click Section and select a section having a list of questions configured in the Interview Questions panel. Click Question and select a question from the list of questions associated with the selected section. Click Answer and select an answer from the list of answers associated with the question. To remove the values from all fields and start over, click Clear. Click Add. The documented details appear in the grid.
