NextGen® Enterprise EHR Toolbar - Modify Own Operation

The EHR Toolbar-Modify Own Operations subgroup in the System Administrator application enables users to customize the NextGen® Enterprise EHR toolbars by:

• Adding or reordering the Top toolbar buttons. When the user right-clicks on the Top toolbar, the Customize menu item becomes enabled.
• Removing the module buttons in the Main toolbar. The Show module buttons check box becomes enabled on the Tools menu > Preferences > Main Toolbar tab.

When users log out or exit NextGen® Enterprise EHR, their current settings are saved under the current practice for the user ID.

When the right is set to No, users can only modify the button image and text. When they exit, these options save to Ngconfig.ini file.

Some ways to use this right:

• Give all users the right to modify their own toolbars.
• Give a user with administrative privileges the rights to modify the toolbars and set the default for others.
