Restore an Archived Goal
If you accidentally archive a goal, you can only restore it from the same encounter that it was archived in. You cannot restore an archived goal in future encounters. If you decide to continue the activities related to an archived goal, you must recreate the goal. On the encounter that the goal was archived in, open the NTS Therapy Goals template. To see archived goals in the Goals grid, set the grid filter to Archived. The archived goals appear in the grid. Select the archived goal. Clear the Archive checkbox. Select a status, and then select Update. The goal appears in the Goals grid as an active goal with the updated status. Parent topic: Goals Parent topic: Goals

Archive Goals
Before you begin To archive goals, you must select Enabled for the Archive Goals setting on the NTS Practice Settings practice template. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Configuration Guide for NextGen® Therapy Suite. You can archive an active goal, for example, if the goal is no longer applicable to the patient's case. Note: Once a goal is archived, you cannot edit it unless you restore it. On the NTS Therapy Goals template, select a goal in the Goals grid. The goal details appear in the corresponding fields. Select the Archive Goal checkbox. On the template, a message appears that notifies you that to archive a goal, you must update the status. Update a Goal
You can change the content of any goal, including expired goals. For example, you can extend the length of the goal or change the goal or function. Open the NTS Therapy Goals template. Select a goal from the Goals grid.The goal details appear in the fields above the Goals grid and the Update button becomes available. Goal selected in the NTS Therapy Goals template Change the necessary goal details.If you change the Weeks, enter the updated total number of weeks. For example, if the original number of weeks to achieve the goal was 4, but now you want to add another 2 weeks, then you would enter 6. To save the changes, select Update. Open the Therapy Goal Template
To add or update any goals you must open the Therapy Goal template. Expand the Plan panel. Under the Goals grid, select Edit. The NTS Therapy Goals template opens. The Goals grid displays all goals entered for the patient. The Goal Progression/History grid shows the history of updates made to a goal selected from the Goals grid. Sort Goals
Goals appear in the grid in the same order that they are added, but you can change the order. Open the NTS Therapy Goals template. Select a goal from the Goals grid. Select the up and down arrows to move the goal to the preferred position. Parent topic: Goals Parent topic: Goals

Add Therapy Goals Manually
You can manually add each goal. Note: Alternatively, you can quickly add standard goals by using QuickPicks. See QuickPicks. If you do not want to use picklists to enter goal details, you can turn them off in the Practice Config practice template in the Legacy Picklist Functionality setting of the Goals panel. Open the NTS Therapy Goals template. NTS Therapy Goals template Enter all the details that are required for saving the goal: In the Type field, select the type of goal. Enter the Goal and Function. Enter the total number of weeks the patient is expected to achieve the goal. If necessary, in Response to Treatment, document the patient’s treatment response for the goal. For example, you could enter the treatment response as the percentage of goal completion. In Status, you can select the status of the goal or leave the field blank. For example, you can capture the patient’s current status towards achieving the goal or the status when the patient was initially transferred mid-treatm
